Follow The Sun Catania - Rooftop Terrace

We had a wonderful stay at Catania in Giulia’s apartment. She was very helpful even before we are arrived but when we got there she really exceeded our expectations. We sat down and she took us through a wonderful list of activities and places we could do, giving us great tips for traveling and money saving. The apartment was exceptionally clean and we had no problems whatsoever there. There is ‘shared’ bathroom but it’s only used by us and the other roommates so it’s basically almost to ourselves. All in all, our stay there was amazing and Giulia’s advice and hospitality really made a difference.

This was an unbelievably amazing journey! The views, - they were amazing! Can you imagine getting up and meeting the sunset with Etna? And Julia with Paolo they are..- magic, I honestly think Catania is still there because of them!

Great location close to the famous fish market and wishing walking distance to all the sights. The host took a lot of time to introduce us to the best places to visit including her favourite eateries, which was a great help during our stay. The roof terrace is simply amazing with a spectacular view of the old town......and a smoking Etna!! Great place to hang out with a glass of wine :-)

The walls between the units seem very thin and our neighbouring couple talked loudly late into the night. It would also have been great with access to a fridge

giulia is genuine and wonderful. we couldn’t have wished for a better start to our trip in Sicily! her tips are amazing as is her guesthouse. we will definitely come back.

Golia is very friendly, her and Pablo's place is suitable for sleeping and a hot shower in a nice atmosphere. The design is cute, the water is hot in the shower and the roof is lovely. Suitable for people who value a central location.

Something more private would have been more suitable for me (also acoustically). It is important to note that from the moment you arrive at the building you have 5 doors/gates that you must open with keys, which makes spontaneous entry and exit less easy. Beyond that, I recommend making sure to disinfect the sheets and towels better. The pillows are very cheap and uncomfortable. Another important thing is to ask permission from the guests to enter the bedroom where they are staying, we were surprised to find that they entered our room that we were not in and tidied it up and this probably required touching and moving personal belongings. (Considering that the owner of the house is very important to his privacy, since he lives there, I expect to receive the same standard) However, the place is sweet and I believe it will only get better if the hosts want it to. Thank you.

Everything was in the best possible order, Giulia was very polite, she took care of our well-being in the facility. We were given a list of places to visit (restaurants, cafes, sights). In addition, Giulia is available for help, advice.

Giulia (the host) were really friendly, helped with everything. Gave us a map about the city and marked the interesting places, restaurants, sights After we checked out, we even could leave our stuff there. Very nice place, definitely would recommend and visit again

I liked place very much, Giulia was very helpful during our short trip. Especially we loved terrace with view on Etna - it's really something worth to book stay here!

Absolutely gorgeous! Giulia is so nice and helpful! Perfect location close to the fish market, beautiful room with jug kettle and tea and coffee for free, luxurious shared bathroom, everything absolutely clean. The view of the city from the terrace is breathtaking! 10/10!
