Prime location in The Firmont, Sea Point

I Liked that the property was secure and security was available. Kitchen facilities were adequate for a short stay. The small details like chocolate left on the towels was a lovely Suprise. The rooms were spacious. beautiful decorated for a rental apartment. Apartment is on the main street, easy access to the various eating houses. The information Booklet and poster was helpful and precise.

The entrance to the parking of apartment is located on one way road, which made entry difficult during peak hours. The Curtains on the main bedroom was not thick enough to keep the light and sound out at night- we struggled to get a good nights sleep. The smart TV on premises only allowed for watching subscription services. So we couldn't log in and use the services as we currently not subscribed to any. Would be nice if the hosts could keep the YouTube opened to listen to music.

Secure location. Very central. Exactly as per pictures. The fan was broken when we arrived but on reporting this it was replaced with a new working fan the same day. The pillows were very comfortable. It would have received a higher score if it was cooler on the inside. It has all the necessities for a self catering apartment in Sea Point.

The apartment was very noisy if the windows were left open and very hot if the windows were closed. Suggest that it needs Aircon. There are no ceiling fans only floor fans - 1 in each bedroom.

Right in the heart of Sea Point - perfect. The apartment was great. Also the security ensured a very safe stay. Walking along the Sea Point Promenade was close by and wonderful. The best coffee is directly across the road and the finest ice-cream is down the road at Venezia Italian Gelato. Many quality cafe's and restaurants close by.

The Bodum Coffee Plunger needs to head for the bin because the sieve and plate no longer tightens and therefore impossible (not just difficult) to make coffee. There is one dining room chair with a broken leg and could cause injury when (not if) it breaks off. The lift is still being repaired, so we are much fitter now than when we arrived.

The location of the premises. The self catering facilities were sufficient as required.

The elevator not working to the floor we were booked on. It makes carrying luggage when going up.

Really a beautiful apartment, quite neat and spacious. Beds were clean and really comfortable. Awesome location with restaurants just below , and all necessary shops in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay and felt safe.
