Haworth Heights - Brontë Country Aparthotel

Really liked the location of the apartments being close to the train station and a walk to the Main Street in Haworth

Comfy bed

Heater on wall (behind a picture above the bed) so only warmed up the bed rather than the whole room. Blind was broken - explained they knew prior to stay and was waiting to be fixed. No protectors on bedding (basics in hospitality) Security main door was never locked apart from us Woken at 2.30am (thought shower had come on) no had water coming through ceiling of window casing. Shower kept going cold said low pressure Never set the sofa bed up and when requested bedding noone turned up till the following day and even accessed our room to drop of the bedding while we were out

It isn't perfect. But I still highly recommend. Excellent location just a short walk from train station and main street. I loved the self service element. You just arrive and enter the code and collect your key from the keybox. Perfect after a long day of driving! Loved the big comfy bed, the heating, the shower. It's so handy having a fridge. The furniture and fittings are stylish and aesthetically pleasing. I love the Brontë theme decor. We had a beautiful view from our window across the nature reserve, railway and stream at the rear of the building. Car park nearby was handy as no on street parking in front of the building, and only £3 for a 24 hour stay.

The coffee machine was disappointing, but there is a kettle and basic coffee making ingredients. There are some cleanliness issues - lots of dust, dust bunnies, and a stain on the bedding. The folding door across the bathroom doesn't close properly, and as its right beside the bed it leaves little to the imagination - which isn't ideal. The stairs are very steep and narrow. They also lean in the opposite direction so it makes you feel quite off balance. Should really be fixed as it's potentially dangerous for some.

Needed a good clean was passable on surface but dust on lights and fake plant was plenty. Round the base of the toilet and the back of the toilet door needed a good clean. Also there must be a known issue as the apartment was musty smelling with 3 air fresheners in a small space. Wasn't a problem for us however can imagine if elderly closing the window and blind could be troublesome. Some shower gel would be nice too. Was not aware was in the attic space with 2 very narrow stairs cases to climb. Walls are extremely thin, I could have done without the amorous wake up call from the downstairs neighbours.

Perfect for our needs for an extended family wedding party. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and nice and warm.
