Very convenient for the party we were attending. Great gin with the right garnish without being asked. Staff were lovely and very apologetic about the heating issue.

Broken radiator valve meant that the room was oppressively hot, we didn’t realise this until we got back from our event at nearly midnight. Despite the window being open, it was like sleeping in a sauna. We were aware we had booked the last room so didn’t raise it with the staff until the morning (who were very apologetic), they confirmed there wouldn’t have been anything they could do. The mattress was too small for the base so we walked into the base several times during our stay, presuming that it would be the same size as the mattress. It was a disabled room, which meant the bathroom light came on automatically with a very loud fan (we turned it off), we had to have the bathroom door open to get some of the cooler air from there into the bedroom, so when we used the bathroom at night we has to have the light on. The toilet seat was also loose and slipped when in use. From the disabled access perspective it wasnt particularly well thought through - no way to right transfer from a wheelchair to the toilet because of the placement of the (tiny) sink. Shower had a curtain but even with this due to the poor design of the drain there was about an inch of water on the floor after a short shower, we had to use the mop provided to make it reasonably safe. A powered wheelchair would not have been safe. There was also a (presumably structural) pole in the tool blocking access in a wheelchair to the right hand side of the bed, wardrobe, and window. It felt expensive even without the heating issue.

The twin room was so small we couldnt both get dressed at the same time.No window in the bathroom.Only really room for 1 person.Not room to put 2 suitcases without blocking our way in and out.

Lovely location to visit old Kennilworth including the castle and abbey fields- simple but clean rooms - great food. A very relaxing stay

Breakfast was excellent. Great choice and well cooked hot food. Also ate in the restaurant all three night and food was well cooked, presented well and delicious.

Staff were great and the location is terrific for exploring this historic area or a show at the Stafford show ground. The old town and castle are well worth exploring and are within easy walking distance.

The room and facilities were very basic,which led us to believe that the price charged was not good value for money. There was also a leak from the bathroom sink (although we didn't report this).

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were kind.

The automatic bathroom light was a bit annoying. I thought my room was a little loud but I used earplugs.
