The location is good for Kennillworth high street.

We were roomed in the annex. Our room smelt like a swimming pool. The cleaning sign and mop were left in our bathroom. The kettle does not fit in the sink.

The atmosphere is always pleasant and staff are friendly and helpful.

Shower was abit weak

There’s too few staff, difficult to check in when you need to go and find staff from the restaurant. Also, it was very noisy - 2 men speaking loudly until midnight and then again just after 5 am. Nobody in the reception when we left. Breakfast ’poached’ eggs were solid, not really eggs benedict. No teaspoons or butter available. Again, just not enough staff. All staff we saw were very nice but just doing too many things and not having time then to do them properly.

Comfortable bed. Good location.

Pillows were hard. The light in the bathroom is on a sensor and it is impossible to turn it off. Therefore when you visit the bathroom in the night the light comes on waking your partner, you loose your night vision and cannot then see to get back to bed! There was a continuous machinery rumble from outside so it was impossible to sleep with the window open and the room was too hot even with the radiator off.

Not much power in the shower

The hotel was quiet and the room comfortable. Staff were friendly.

The room needed repainting and the mirror was missing from the bathroom. The breakfast staffed faffed when the coffee jug ran out. There was little onsite parking.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice bath and shower with products supplied. It was good to get coffee bags instead of those horrid instant coffee sachets! Parking around the back was handy. Staff were friendly. Great location to explore the area.
