No shop on site Swimming pool times even though not busy

Great location, lovely campsite, only ten minutes to walk to the sea front. Really nice club house to socialize in. But the caravan wasn't't great at all.

We chose to leave two days earlier as it wasn't a great stay inside the caravan. No curtain on the window in the lounge (we used a bed sheet), other curtains too long we kept tripping up on them, dirty cutlery which the handles fall off when using, rusty radiators in the toilet. Hand towels instead of bath towels (which we paid extra for). Grass and weeds outside hadn't been cut in months, but all the other caravans had tidy neat lawns. Broken parasol stand (but no parasol). We always stay in caravans and have enjoyed them fully, but this one needs some Tender Love & Care BEFORE it's rented out again. Disappointed considering it was over £800 (rental + hire of towels + bedding+ deposit+early check in).

What they do not tell you when booking this caravan is that the price shown on booking.com does not state you have to pay additional costs of £100 for damages. I booked this caravan in good faith as a last-minute booking. Paying £240 for 2 nights accommodation. I then waited to get the code to collect the keys. Only to be told I would need to pay additional cost as stated. I could go on forever on how the people who are in charge of letting this property and booking.com let us down, ripped us off, showed no compassion that we genuinely did not see additional costs on the booking page. The property owners took 240.00 and then refused to issue keys until additional cost where paid by bank transfer. It was Sunday afternoon, no way of doing bank transfer. So bottom line we had no where to stay. All other accommodation in burnham on sea full. We drove 200 miles home. Myself and my partner walked onto site to look at this caravan and be warned it's looks run down. Gardens over grown, garden furniture shabby. I have been taught a massive lesson this weekend that people ate just out to take your money and show no compassion or help in which was a awful experience. Then to be told by the lady who owns this property, I should of read the small print and it's my fault I lost £240 of hard earned money and had no choice but to drive all the way home. I thing they are a scam company and so is booking.com

Lovely caravan which was very comfortable and clean, great location also, friendly site with a great clubhouse and also not far from shops, restaurants and beach etc.

Was only there for 2 nights, would prefer to stay longer next time.

The caravan is very comfortable and good for a family. It has everything you need in a nice and quiet location. We liked the fact you bring your own bedding as it made it feel like home. It is close to the shops in Burnham as well as a short drive from Western-super-mare. Perfect for a weekend break or a long holiday, you won't be disappointed. We did find some site facilities were not available but that was sessional so couldn't be helped.
