6 Berth Caravan on Lakeside Holiday Park

We could walk to the seafront.

Toilet rolls could have been provided.

the location of the caravan- very central to burnham. i didnt use the facilities of the park so cannot comment on this. able to book early check in was good.

i received an email after booking to say that i needed to send £100 damage deposit and that this would be returned within 14 days of check out. i enquired after 5 days when i would receive my deposit back- and was informed that the owner had up to 14 days to pay this back. i enquired again after 10 days, and was informed that the cleaner had found rubbish left in a bin, and so i would be charged £25. i disputed this, as the caravan was left immaculately. i was sent a picture of a bin that had some rubbish in it. i recommend any people staying here, take photos of how the caravan has been left- especially the rubbish bin. i had to chase my deposit, and i did not receive my partial deposit until 15 days after check out. i wouldn't recommend people stay here if using it as an alternative to a hotel room, and not as a caravan holiday, due to the hassle it has caused. i have used booking.com for many years without any issues, but this experience has not been positive in the slightest.

Quiet location on the park. T towel and washing up supplies on arrival. Helpful staff when resolving queries. All site entertainment was included. (Except the pool access) DVD player and some bits of entertainment in the caravan. Good sized double bed and storage in both rooms. 2 toilets

Bit of an odd odour from the cutlery drawer and cupboard where the brushes and bin was kept. (Was off-putting) Had to pay extra to use the pool. Had to buy batteries for the DVD remote. No curtains to one side of the living room. Didn't feel fully private. Was an outside lamp that side.

Location was great! Roughly 5-10 minutes walk from town centre / beach as well as arcades. The holiday park has different activities in the evening inside the boat house.

Caravan was clean but showing signs of wear . out side could be improved grass needed cutting grass cutting removed ..
