Surfside Bliss - Cayton Bay Park caravan

Location

We enjoyed our stay and it was ideal for Scarborough. The kitchen facilities were upto scratch , however the oven only has one shelf which meant cooking six pizzas took time. A nice touch was the coffee machine. The heating was superb and the caravan was nice and warm, watch out for the timer the heating goes on and off at odd times if you don't set the clock.

The facilities are excellent and the caravan had ample room, however we were a party of 7 and this inc two small babies and it was difficult to place the cot bed, with mum and dad anywhere other than the sofa bed in the lounge area. This would have been perfect had this sofa bed been working Bedrooms have limited space but you are in a caravan, so what do you expect, beds comfortable and we all slept well even on the sofa.

The caravan was very roomy for the amount of us that stayed. It was very clean when we turned up and had everything we needed. The caravan was opposite the basket ball/football court so I could sit on the veranda and watch the kids play. The entertainment was a 2 minute walk from the caravan.

The caravan was like a home from home, our girls loved the stay, we were lucky to have a new mattress which was that comfortable we have ordered one for home, we had a lot of fun on the site swimming and evening entertainment, plus all the extras like high ropes go karts, but only being a 15 min drive from Scarborough made sure we were never board, the beach at cayton was beautiful you just have to dare the steep walk down. 10/10 will. Be coming back and using this caravan,

Paying for the weekly passes for swimming and entertainment is only £27 each but when you plan a day out makes it difficult to get back for the kids entertainment, and paying again for some of the swimming activities,but that being said we had the best time

Perfect location with just a short drive to Scarborough.

Due to the ongoing summer weather we encounted a lot of flies with having the windows open however we were provided Fly spray which helped.

The size ,interior and location

The mattress in the double bed was uncomfortable , too springy
