"The place itself is great."

Good location. Good views. Nice place overall.

The people downstairs (this place is on the first floor) had quite a long party. Also kept slamming doors. Did not respond to requests to keep the noise down.

"Stunning views"

Stunning views, even in a storm, the view was magical. Clean, tidy, and a really comfortable bed. The perfect place to relax on holiday.

The stairs were fun... but you don't get amazing views without a wee climb, so definitely worth it.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the place very much. Everything was exactly as advertised. Very comfortable accommodations. There is a beautiful walk around the bay, and the view from the many windows is amazing.

Several reviewers took issue with the stairs--we drove up to unload our suitcases and then parked at the bottom. It wasn't a big deal. It's a lot of steps, but that's made clear in the description. I wouldn't book if I had a health condition, but being fairly fit, it really wasn't bad.

"Beautiful views of the Wellington harbour and many different angles to appreciate them."

We stayed during a storm, and then the next night the sunset was amazing.

The TV / WiFi setup was a little difficult to use.

Great little place to stay for a weekend get away! As mentioned in other reviews the views are amazing!! The house itself is also amazing!! Has everything you need for a comfortable home away from home. The hosts are also amazing!! Had great communication throughout, very pleasant and helpful. 10 out of 10 stay!!

As mentioned in previous reviews there are a number of steps to the property, so keep that in mind when packing you have to take it all up the steps. Otherwise, take your time going up and down using the handrails and you will be fine.

"A great escape!"

The place has a few quirks but more than makes up for it with the location and attention to comfort. If you think of it as an upmarket bach then that would define it well. We loved being there while our home was having floors sanded.

Nothing that really mattered!
