Private 1 bedroom with amazing sea views

The views were amazing! A cute little cottage, clean and comfortable.

Would have been great to know how difficult access to the property was with over 50 steep steps to climb while carrying luggage, food supplies etc. This would be impossible for elderly or people with toddlers or babies. Cars parked down on road so far below house meant no security. Just need to be upfront with the accessibility prior to people booking.

The view is 180 degrees. Great sunsets. Big kitchen. Cozy bed. Maybe 5 minutes from lower Hutt center.

Lots of stairs to property and you are on second floor. Make sure you have small luggage and are physically fit. We parked on Church st above property between 9 and 15. The construction below took spots on main street.

This place was the most comfortable, serene spot, nicely appointed kitchen was everything you could need. I could look at the practically 360 views all day. Would love to go back again sometime. The stairs were a great workout, communicated well so I planned for them & it was no problem.

Wifi was a little spotty while trying to get some work done, but then I would just look up and enjoy the view!

Bath was a good size and length. Everything I needed in the kitchen. Sea views were worth the cost alone. Bed was comfy with electric blanket. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided as well as toilet paper. Towels provided. Guest book had lots of good info.

The access to the house was the most unliked part of the stay, but the sea views during the day and at night was worth the trek. A bit difficult to see at night on the trek in some places, so having your phone torch ready is recommended. Mostly well lit path though. If you have a lot to take up the stairs to the house, either have a few people to help or be prepared to have a double sometimes triple workout. It was a bit difficult to work out the TV box, but I just googled it, would be great to have instructions though. The lounge layout was aimed more to look at the water views instead of the TV, but I just moved it around. If your not a tap water drinker, take some water. The heatpump took a whlile to warm up. Washer/dryer very loud so I set it for when I went out.

Tastefully appointed, great views, pantry well stocked over and above the average Air bnb.
