Owls Nest - Peace and Tranquility near Woodbridge & Framlingham in rural Suffolk

Location to things we wanted to see. Lots of lovely walks around location. Great cycling.

Shower was horrible. Very very steep steps to front door. Wind blew through front door. Didn't realise it was dog friendly and my husband is allergic to dogs.

Lovely quiet location in the depths of the Suffolk countryside but only 10-20 minutes from local services or pubs. The light in Owls Nest is wonderful! The natural wood finish complementing the sun from the feature window. The apartment has all that is necessary for a holiday stay, the cooking facilities are fine unless you have a full Sunday roast in mind. The bed is comfortable and supportive, the bathroom has plenty of hot water and enough water pressure! and the sitting room has a comfortable sofa and armchairs. The WiFi is quick and reliable which is good because the mobile signals in Suffolk are not always reliable! Don't want to add anything we didn't like but just to reinforce the warning that the steps to the apartment are steep, able bodies will have no problem but it is a consideration for the least able.

A lovely location and the place was well equipped and comfortable.

The steps to reach the property were a bit hard work with luggage, and the low ceilings were a problem for my husband. The property was a little remote, but that wasn't a surprise.

We loved the location of Owl's Nest. It is situated in very attractive rural Suffolk and was lovely and quiet. It was a good place to stay with a dog and there are plenty of footpaths for walking. It was handily placed for visiting Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo. The property was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We kept pretty warm despite the cold weather.

The only thing we found tricky was the steep steps up to the property which our dog did not like going down. It was a little difficult carrying her down them especially as they were icy.

Everything we needed. Cosy. Warm. Comfortable sofa. Clean. Well presented accommodation. Beautiful surroundings. Ideal for us and our doggie.

Floors a little creaky and we were concerned we would be too noisy as there were people staying downstairs. Front door a bit draughty but heating system and radiators kept us cosy.

We have lived in a bungalow for the past 12 years. The steps up to the Owel nest were quite a lot steeper than we thought they would be.
