Location and Cleanliness were excellent

A few little extras would of been appreciated, maybe some toiletries and milk pods to add to the tea and coffee would of added that extra ‘luxury’ touch

Great apartments here - staff really accommodating and friendly. Great if you would like a home from home getaway or trip.

The decor

Potentially the worst place I have EVER stayed. In the run up to arrival, the hosts email system wasn’t working meaning they were sending me the same spam email about T&Cs which I already signed every day. This led me to missing vital check in information. At first glance the rooms look lovely as they have modern renovation, but closer inspection finds them riddled with black mould, dust and dirt. They hadnt even been hoovered! The worst experience was checking out, it turns out there is a 30 minute timer on the hot water for a family of 3 people. This meant I had no hot water for a shower. I called at 10.10 in the morning after being unable to get the water going for 40 minutes. I was talked through how to turn the timer off. I was calling them every half an hour. Check out was at 11am, we were due to be travelling by 11am but I was still trying to have the issue resolved at 11.45. My last call which was answered was from a lady who said there was no notes to say I’d called even though I’d already had four telephone conversations. She then tried to talk me through the same instructions on my first call and wouldn’t listen when I tried to say I’d already been through this. My last few calls they ignored. I ended up having to leave without a shower. The bedding which was in a bag for the sofa bed was dirty covered in animal hairs and ants. This was not used. The black mould was across nearly every surface and on testing was completely wipeable showing it simply had not been cleaned. Overnight the bathtub backed up and started to fill up. I never heard back from the company which run this property. They sent a message claiming they didn’t have my phone number, yet I had called and left a voicemail with this and it is on my booking. Absolute waste of money. I wish we had never booked here. Every opportunity was given for them to rectify the shower situation as when paying for a night stay somewhere you expect at the very minimum to be able to have a shower.

the heating went off after a certain time there was no hot water for a shower it was freezing all night also the night before I was supposed to stay it said that I could come after midnight but then I couldn’t so I had to fork out money for another hotel

It was great location, private grounds, plenty of parking, modern.

The beds are in double, which is an issue when you’re over 6ft or generally tall

Lovely building and grounds area. Very secure car park. The place is very clean and has all the amenities enabling you to cook etc. Its very spacious in the lounge and kitchen areas. The bedroom is small but it is cosy enough for 2 people. The host was easy to contact and was professional and helpful.

The Wifi is really poor, the signal is intermittent and there is no point of even trying to use it. This needs sorting! The TV is hard to use, they are using Apple TV and it would not work due to the very poor Wifi. The water would not heat up, I had to call the agent who apologised and gave me a code to enter a store room enabling me to get the water on. It is very cold due to the glass roof in the lounge, and the heaters are not the easiest to use. They have timers on and one thing or another. There was leak coming from the kitchen sink which left water all over when water was running. I informed the cleaner on departure.

Great location and large rooms.

Bed was very small, specially given the size of the bedroom. Expected better from a “luxury” standard room. Bath had a lot of mould around the edges. No welcome pack/guide book despite receiving two e-mails asking us if we found it helpful. I rang to report this but nothing ever happened.
