Renovated 16th Century House in Valletta

The location was great.

The price for the quality. There was no place outside to sit and enjoy a visit. There were no windows. It was sold as a two bedroom when it should have been sleeps 4 people as one bed was in the living area and altho there was a tv, there was no place to sit and enjoy. In retrospect, i would choose a hotel room with amenities

This is a very quirky and quaint accommodation and I would have loved to have seen it in the 16th century and what it would have looked like - a little gem of a find.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully renovated 16th-century house in Valletta. The property was cozy, full of character, and very well maintained. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was also excellent for exploring the city. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Valletta! :-)

Fantastic location

The property is let down by awful bedding and 1 very cheap towel per guest, due to age of property it can feel damp, could do with a dehumidifier.

Komunikace s majitelkou byla bezproblémová, cokoliv bylo potřeba šlo pružně vyřešit. Interiér je zajímavý, schodiště úchvatné, osvětlení dostatečné.

Asi po úklidu před námi byl v apartmánu zápach použitých hadrů které ležely pod schody a těžko schnuly, kuchyň byla uklizená dost sporadicky, vše jsme přemývaly, toustovač plný drobků a houbička byla v takovém stavu, že jsme radši koupily novou. Co nám nedošlo, že v bytě ze 16. století bude hodně prachu ze zdí, určitě nění vhodný pro alergiky.

Everything we needed as our base in Valletta for 2 friends. Separate living spaces (the bedroom is up very narrow spiral staircase fyi). The toilet is a sliding door in the downstairs area so not that much privacy but we didn’t mind. Great value can’t complain!

The front door is right next to the bed upstairs so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs in case of people talking outside the door on the street!

Lage war sehr gut (Sehenswürdigkeiten in Valletta und zentrale Busstation fußläufig erreichbar). In (Keller-)Räumen eines Palazzos aus dem 16. Jhd. zu übernachten hat sicherlich einen besonderen Charme. Der Raum im OG hat ein großes Fenster (warum manchmal die Räumlichkeit als fensterlos beschrieben wird, erschließt sich nicht wirklich). Wenn alle Lichter im gesamten Appartement leuchten, hat man ausreichend Helligkeit. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut.

Die Treppe im Appartement ist stylisch , aber auch sehr steil - für Menschen mit Mobilitätseinschränkungen eher schwierig. Die Lüftung läuft 24 h und auch von außen nimmt man Geräusche wahr. Die Ausstattung des Bades ist grundsätzlich ausreichend, allerdings ist das Waschbecken schon sehr klein.
