Rural Log Cabin in Snowdonia near Coed y Brenin by Seren Short Stays

The cabin was secluded and in a very quiet position.

The property mwas supposed to be at Festiniog. Spent nearly an hour trying to find it. Phoned up Comfortable and quiet. and was told it was in a holiday villabe near Coed y Brenin about 10 miles away.. No mention of the holiday village on the booking form

The cabin looked better than in the photos. We stayed for three nights. The beds were comfy and the WiFi was great. The kitchen was well stocked for a short stay.its also a short distance from surrounding locations like the slate mines and Portmeirion.

Fantastic location although it doesn’t say in the description that it is on Trawsfynydd Holiday Village. Quiet and private even with other cabins around. Cabin very clean

A review on 28th April stated TV didn't work and it still hadn’t been sorted before we arrived or whilst we were there even though we reported it again. Shower didn’t work but was sorted within two days. We feel the cabin was not as expected and there was some confusing information in the guide that was sent.

although on a large complex it was very private due to screening, but did not feel enclosed

The TV did not work and was not sorted during our stay despite reporting it. The remote control was missing so could not use the freesat reception and wifi did not work so could not use streaming services. I would have thought checking if the remote controls were there would be a standard part of preparation before guests arrive

Clean, fresh, immaculate bedding and towels were like new. Tv, Wi-Fi excellent. Comfort, design and layout perfect. Kitchen well equipt and clean. Absolutely outstanding. Warm and cosy
