MAR DE VENT -Apartments

The living room was bright and large and the balcony too. The apartment had everything you need from the hairdryer to towels and kitchen utilities. The location is really comfortable since it's near the sea but also clubs and markets.

The bathroom didn't have a window or anything to recycle air so it was difficult to dry it. Also the shower,which was very big, didn't close at half causing the water to fall on the floor.

The property is in the very city centre near the main street where all the neccesities are. Locationwise it is a good choice for group of people who come to have fun and who want to live near the all main attractions and necessities.

2 minuses that were during our stay: - neighbours that live above you can spill anything on your balcony without even knowing it, especially if young people live above you which is in most cases will be majority of times. It happenned several times with our balcony when suddenly somebody above us started spilling water, beer or any other liquids from the balcony above us on our balcony on our laundry and other things. - shower in the bathroom is made right next to the toilet and doesn’t have enough glass protection from pouring and leaking the water on the toilet itself and to the bathroom area in general, so all the time when you take a shower, you need to clean half of the bathroom afterwards due to leaking water on the ground and on the toilet.

The location is quite central close to everything that you’d want to visit

We booked for 2 nights for 4 guests. We were asked to pick the keys from a different location. Once we reached the apartment; we found the following: 1. Bathroom door was faulty, so it was always open. 2. The hand shower in the shower panel was broken 3. No hand towels provided 4. Only one toilet roll provided for 4 people for 2 nights 5. There were no basic consumables provided like dish wash soap/detergent etc 6. There was central air conditioning but no AC blanket provided (considering it’s a 2 bedroom apartment, one may require a blanket as not everyone feels the same level of cold/hot so you can’t really fix the thermostat as per one persons choice) On bringing these up with the manager, he/she quite blatantly answered that “you’ve booked a tourist apartment & not a daily service hotel” Said we need to buy our own consumables. After traveling over 14 countries and staying in different apartments, I quite well know what is provided in a “tourist apartment” You cannot expect someone staying for 2 days to go buy their own hand towels, toilet rolls, dish soap etc. That is applicable to long term rentals. So all in all, the manager/host quite ruined our experience. The lady who handed over the keys to us was quite welcoming during check in but quite frigid on our check out. Would not recommend unless you want to feel like “unwelcome guests who are given the apartment to stay as a favour”
