There was nothing to like thus place was awfull not only run down and out if date it was really dirty I have contacted owners but since I replied back they have choose to ignore me I took my 8year granddaughter with me she was so upset please ppl dt waste your money

It was dirty oven was disgusting nonway could u cook bed sheets Stains mould toilet seat broke sink near shower was filthy tye actual shower tray had a huge lump of plaster or silicone in it and real dirty walls in shower nothing to even put shower head on to shower not that ya would broken window in toilet dirty toilet and toilet brush was meant for a family of 6 it had a 2 seater sofa which has seen better days and 2 chairs hardly any cutlery blood stained curtain and wall I have video and pictures of this place I would never ever stay there again and the ppl that own it have choose to ignore me as I asked for a full refund as stayed 1 night if weather wasn't really bad and the bridge was closed I would of left same day disgusting if I could load more pictures I would cause that's nit the half of how bad it was

Our expectations based on the price we paid and it being a chalet were not dramatically high. We were going to a wedding nearby and it was available to book for 2 nights at a good price. The chalet has taken some punishment and a number of repairs/cosmetic repairs have been undertaken to various standards BUT it is small enough to quickly heat up (we had one cold night) and it was 100% waterproof through an incredibly wet night! The living area was big enough and warm enough to comfortably sit in. Not having been to a caravan/chalet park for many years what surprised us was it was possibly the quietest nights sleep we have had anywhere for many years despite it being half term and quite a lot of chalets being occupied on the Sunday night. Not the prettiest of sites with a number of rundown chalets but not a major issue and there is lots of open space. The kitchen equipment is showing some signs of end of season blues - only a couple of spoons and one small plate. A couple of the speed bumps are quite spectacular but if they keep the kids safe fine. Arrived Sunday afternoon and left Tuesday morning so didn't use the shower. Comms were good but a bit more info would have been useful. Google maps took us to the club entrance rather than the 1st inlet the actual site entrance, no info as to the entrance policy/price? for the onsite clubhouse or the nicer looking one up the road. We used the Leysdown pubs one (Rose and Crown) looked good and wasn't and the other (Corrigans) looked horrible but was actually very pleasant and friendly!
