Stylish and homely 1 bed Edwardian Coach House

Victoria and Alex really know how to host! From the helpful and friendly pre- arrival communication, to all the thoughtful details in the beautifully presented property, everything was done with so much care and warmth. The apartment really is stunning too and I had the best sleep each night! I was extremely sad to leave and very much hope to stay again. :)

Everything. This place is a little gem.

Victoria & Alex were great hosts, & were very helpful. The layout & furnishings of the apartment were beautiful, & had everything we needed. A lovely hamper of goodies on our arrival was a lovely touch. Plus a great sound system.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!

Very tranquil and relaxing. Bus access very handy. The nearest shop also has a huge and tempting range for its size.

Down side was that the stairs between living space and bathroom had no hand rail, so not an easy place for anyone without consistent suppleness/ stability.

The accomodation is beautifully clean and tastefully decorated, and furnished, so has a sense of calm and relaxation as soon as you enter. Welcome pack and good choice for teas and coffees, together with everything you need for a self catered break. When I visit Colchester again this will be my choice again for where to stay. The property was well looked after and fully equipped. It was clean and the host really paid attention to details to make it a pleasant stay. The hamper provided a nice touch and I was very grateful for extras like an umbrella! Fabulous stay and lovely host. I highly recommend.
