Okay location, close enough to the river. We stayed in a couple of places in Varanasi the quality isn't as good as in other cities for the price range. It's down a quiet alley often with excrement in it. Don't use the laundry service, our clothes smelt similar to the alleyway afterwards. You can get it cheaper in other hotels aswell. Customer experience is very transactional and he is quite incessant on getting what he wants in terms of reviews and arrival times. We were also woke up at 8:00am by morning cleaning as the mop tap is right outside the room. I'd probably stay somewhere else. There are alot of options. The owner then submitted that we didn't stay there, I guess in a way to try and extract a second payment. A bit crazy really.

The manager is very kind and hospitable. The guest house is clean, quiet and cozy.

Perfect location. Good AC ans shower. Very nice owner. Good recommendations. Made me a small discount for my extended night.

Lot of ants in the room, but I don't mind as it does not bite. Bed was not really clean, with hairs and other things, the reverse side of the pillows were smelling, not sure if the bed sheets were cleaned. Should improve it. As previously said, you have to walk 15mn to reach the place, I'm fine but if you don't have backpack can be annoying.

Nidhivan stay was exceptional for that area ( just a stone throw) from Ghats. Sandeep the Manager and Owner was amazing and all founder. Excellent help from him. I would recommend a stay here for those who wish to do their religious duty at Ghats and Kaasi Viswanathar temple. Thanks

The highlight of this stay is the location and kind staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable for two. The homestay is located in the winding alleys of the old city, within a 5 minute walk to the Ganga and perfectly located in the middle of the Ghat Walk. Many small shops, yoga centers, music stores, Indian music concerts, and restaurants within 5-10 minute walk. There are many international as well as local cafes and eateries around the homestay. At night, it is very quiet and safe as compared to the noisy and bustling main streets. It's perfect for those who want an immersive Varanasi experience. Do expect to take your luggage on a 15-20 minute walk to get to the homestay as e-rickshaws and cars are not allowed in the narrow alleys. This is the case with all hotels and homestays in this area. The e-rickshaw driver at the railway station dropped us off within a 15 minute walk to the homestay. We were able to access an Uber car to the airport near Jamia Salafiah Masjid. We would highly recommend anyone coming to Varanasi to stay here. It was perfect for our 4 days in Varanasi. Thank you Nidhivan staff.

The accommodation is perfect, is really near the important places but is situated in a quiet road so no loud noises. The bed is comfortable, clean and really good hot shower. Sandeep in the reception help us with everything, boat, restaurants… He also provide for a room to chill after check out while we waited for our late train. We also checked in early.

Is true that you have to walk to get there because no tuktuk, but you don’t want tuktuk close because they make lots of noise!!!

Nice quiet hotel.

The room was clean, well maintained and the position is great to see everything around Varanasi. It's also in a very quiet area so you don't hear any noise from traffic. Plus, the host was very nice, he helped me and my friend to reach the place and also kept our luggage stored when we had to go to the Kumbha Mela festival.
