Studio Apartment 5 with balcony and river view

TV initially wasn’t working someone had pulled aerial out Patio door wouldn’t open Bathroom window wouldn’t shut Nowhere to hang up towels Nowhere to put soap in shower No mirror above sink in bathroom Smells in corridor Bedding smelt - dogs? So many different codes, Gate, Front Door, Key Box Comparing it to apartment we stayed at across the road some years ago, they had a breakfast bag with fresh bread delivered each morning so probably wasn’t fair to compare (the one that burnt down) All comments are made constructively not a complaint but just from a living in the apartment experience.

Great location, close to the lovely river walk into town, some great restaurants close by. Secure parking.

The mattress was really uncomfortable, the bedding was clean and fresh but would have looked better ironed, the toilet in desperate need of descaling, no mirror in the bathroom which was a pain. Bath sheets would be a better choice to a small bath towel .

On arrival noted crumpled bed, pillows smelt stale, mattress looked like it had sagged, poor attention to presentation of lounge area, flickering light bulb ( replaced on request, but resultant plaster dust left all over centre of room), doors on bathroom cabinet missing....generally very basic and poorly prepared for new visitors. Even the info booklet was basic and not really helpful to visitors. Expected much better for £90 per night. Felt so uncomfortable about this rental that we left and checked into a nice clean Premier Inn for £87 per night!!

Mattress getting tired, could of been a better welcome pack.

The location is absolutely brilliant, it’s in a quiet area but super close to the city centre and a stones throw away from some lovely pubs and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The property manager as lovely and helpful when we had an issue it was resolved promptly. On paper the facilities in the apartment are great for a short stay, equipped kitchen and bathroom, comfy bed and living area.

Very few towels for a 5 day stay and no spare, and they were extremely small. Same goes for toilet paper. The bed is comfortable however it’s not very long so if you’re anything over 6ft 1 you won’t be able to stretch out. My partners feet were flat on the wall.

This studio apartment has all that a couple would need for a pleasant few days in Norwich. Plenty of bars & restaurants for the evenings. Easy convenient & secure car parking is a bonus so close to the city centre.

No complaints.
