A lovely comfortable room with everything I needed for my stay provided. Beautiful quiet rural location but close enough to attractions to get there easily. Local village 5 minutes (drive) down the road with a range of restaurants, pubs and shops for evening meals. Highly recommend.

Lovely king size bed. Plenty of cushions. Good size shower room. The use of the cupboard space for tea/coffee etc. Well equipped. The owner sorted a problem out straight away.

This is not a criticism of the place but maybe the pillows need replacing.

In the country but not far from Consett where there is a good range of shops and eating place. Room was comfortable - the bed was enormous!

Breakfast isn't provided so you do have to go and find somewhere to eat. There are plenty of places in Consett. The stairs up to the room would not be suitable for some elderly people.

Not that it bothered me but fairy lights outside flashed on and off and could be seen through the door . Just incase anyone who has epilepsy or sensitive to flash. Just thought would mention to let you know.
