La Mai Tam Coc Homestay

I enjoyed my stay. This review is specifically for the delux double room. I liked this room because I could see a view view on one side and green trees on the other side. The room has two windows on opposite sides of the room. The room was clean, A/C clean and bedding/linens good quality (cotton). Comfy Bed. I should add it was a very spacious room especially for Vietnam. The family hosts were nice and helpful. Loved the coffee each morning. Breakfast was an added bonus and good. The location was very great, just at the end of the main street on Tam Coc so you could walk easily to go eat or to the stores, but it was quiet for sleeping. If you like views, I saw the family room which has wide windows opening up to the limestone hills that you can watch from bed, would also recommend booking that room if views are your priority! Thanks for a great stay!

I'm not sure I have much to say really. Only thing is that I would say to everyone that I have stayed 2 different room types at this hotel, and that the room with views were worth it to pay a little more for and this is the one I would recommend.

Fabulous location. Quiet and serene. With the best hosts. Helped us clean our bikes, brilliant breakfast, super clean, great amenities: couldn’t ask for more.

None it was all great

My husband and I have been traveling from South Vietnam up to Ninh Binh, and this has been the best place we’ve stayed so far! You really get great value for your money here. The rooms are clean, spacious, and full of natural light. The family running the place is incredibly kind and welcoming and truly makes you feel at home. We had breakfast here every day and the food was always delicious, and their coffee is really good too. The location is great as well, very close to the center of Tam Coc, but still quiet and peaceful so you feel closer to nature. They also make everything very convenient: you can rent a bike or motorbike directly from them, they can help organize transportation and tours, and they also offer laundry service. Overall, this has been one of our best stays in Vietnam so far and you definitely won’t regret choosing this place.

We really liked this place! It was a wonderful stay for us. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, even though it is very close to the center.
