Good location and handy to where we were going to

Shower bit on the small side in en suite and loo brush would have been good

Nice location abd near main routes to get around. There's is an Asda supermarket 5 minutes down the road and an excellent Chinese take away just down the road from the location. Plenty space inside and pet friendly which is great. Some really nice walks nearby, comfy beds and the property is nice and warm.

On arrival we noticed 2 dirty saucepans in the cupboard, they had burnt egg all over the bottom. Lacks utensils like scissors, cork screw, can opener etc so be sure to bring your own. Limited parking but usually a spot outside the property. There's a school down the road so the street can be packed with cars around 830 am and 3pm and people will almost park anywhere although not for too long. Place could just do with a little maintenance to make it great, shelf missing in on suite but brackets left hanging out the wall, shower water drain away is poor in on suite so tray fills with water, leaky main bathroom taps.

The house was clean and spacious. Plenty of space to sit and relax and a kitchen with everything you might need to prepare meals. Each bedroom had a television and comfortable bedding. There was a main bathroom upstairs, ensuite with shower in the master bedroom and a downstairs toilet. I liked that this home offered enough privacy for travellers who may be with friends or family who enjoy their own space. At the cost of two hotel rooms, this house offers good value for the area, and you can save money by not having to eat out for every meal. The back garden wasn't big, but was pleasant and would easily contain a dog if you were bringing one, so no safety worries for pets. The surrounding area was pleasant and well maintained, and in my opinion a lovely place for some autumnal dog walking.

There is probably only enough room to park one car, so if you're travelling in a larger group you may need to find alternative parking.

A good house which had all we needed. Generous bedrooms. Beds really comfortable. Location great for exploring the area.

Some small maintenance issues. Front door needs a lick of paint. Could do with wardrobe in second double bedroom. Switch to bathroom light upstairs is not in the bathroom but in the landing wall between the two bedrooms. Local amenities five minute drive away.
