The shower is very good and super powerful. The house is complete fitted with everything one need to stay comfortable. The garden is secure for dogs, which was an added peace of mind for us.

Missing a grey caddy for compostable food leftovers. A tumble dryer and a dishwasher would be great additions. The mattress is a bit too hard for us.

Clean, lots of toilet roll, easy to find, James was incredibly helpful and got us cleaning supplies. had a washing machine, double cooker, coffee machine, 3 bathrooms, a airer, a fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board, washing basket, sofas and chairs enough for a family of 5/6, had two double bedrooms. It had pretty much everything you'd need for a quick holiday and you need a base. The house is located near HooZoo, Manchester & Birmingham aren't that far away. Easy to get to Alton Towers.

Nice sofas in the lounge, lots of cupboard space in the kitchen, good having 3 toilets and 2 showers.

The lounge was a bit of an odd shape for watching tv if there are more than 3 people, the kitchen was poorly lit, the fridge was in a cupboard in the kitchen which was awkward to get to (especially if you had the cupboard door open as it then blocks entry in to the kitchen) and the fridge away small with just a small freezer bit. One of the trays in the oven had thick grease on it and one of the towels has a stain on it. The beds weren’t awful but were ‘basic’ and not that comfortable. But the worst thing was the plain white walls (which had some marks on so needed a kick of paint) and there wasn’t a single picture on the wall so the whole place lacked any sort of homely feel. The upstairs was especially bland with plain white bedding and no accessories anywhere. There was only a mirror on one bedroom wall and definitely needed some TLC to make it looks homely and more cheerful. Some stains on carpets too. No,shower mat was provided so,the bath was so slippery I bought a shower mat myself! The shower screen was so tiny too that water spilled in to the bathroom. The only things provided were toilet roll and a couple of hand soaps. There was no welcome pack at all like tea/ coffee, milk or any condiments. Nor were any instructions provided on things like how to work the cooker or heating or useful tips about local shops etc. The windows didn’t open properly and we had trouble getting the blinds down (but that might’ve been because they were new and stiff). Thankfully it was more of a ‘practical’ stay for,us for a few nights than a luxury get away or I would’ve been VERY disappointed. Obviously the price is reasonable but I would still have expected more.

The location was great!

The property had a rough clean and the bedding was fresh. There was a fuffty smell in the kitchen and there were lots of cobwebs around the bathrooms and lampshades. Garden has great potential for sitting out but was very overgrown.

The location was ideal for us, the facilities were excellent and the beds were very comfortable, we will definitely try and book this home next time we come up to visit our friends.

Tv unusable as no remote, main bedroom bedside lamp didn’t work, main bathroom shower extremely poor barely a trickle. En-suite shower is tiny. No soft furnishings in entire house. Did not smell clean and dubious stains on carpets. Toothpaste on mirrors. No thermostats on multiple radiators.

House was good, in fine order and good facilities. Had just about everything you would want. Booking and communication was all good.

Replace batteries/make sure downstairs tv remote works. Tried battery from upstairs remote, still couldn't get it to work. Simple instruction would have been useful, eg. how to turn the cooker on, which bin is which (different colours in my home town). Clean up the pre-existing spill on the carpet in bedroom, landing and stairs.
