We loved the easy beach access! We were able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise each morning while making and eating breakfast and walk the beach wall while the tide was out.

If you are considering staying at this property, do not stay here. Upon arrival our first observation was that there were at least 7 security cameras around the property. This was very excessive given the countless properties we have stayed in over the years. We had casual communication with the host due to several items being broken or not working. Quickly, we were blamed and questioned surrounding our concerns instead of working to resolve the issues. This included us removing the build up of hair in the shower drain in order for it to function and drain properly. The back door was unable to be locked as well as both detached bedrooms. One of the detached bedrooms was 90 degrees inside when we arrived - with no window to allow airflow. Guests were forced to sleep with the door open to allow for a safe temperature. Additionally, the property was in an active state of construction, including exposed live wires which were a serious danger. One even shorted out during a rain storm. It is evident that the host is negligent in how she manages the property and blames the paying guests when something is wrong. The rental agreement is poorly written, inclusive of excessive liability risk to the tenant. Given the fact of our findings upon arrival and our accusatory relations with the host, our stay quickly became consumed by dealing with the situation. Our party determined staying in this location was not worth the aggravation or extreme risk to our small children. This was an incredible inconvenience to pack up and leave in the middle of our vacation but staying would have been more of a headache with how we were being treated. She refused to refund our money for the unused nights so we are having to navigate this obstacle as well. You spent enough money to come to Hawaii, don’t pay for this type of aggravation.
