The Terrace - Tankerton

Lovely atmosphere and decoration, nice bedrooms, well equipped kitchen. Free tea and coffee, milk in the fridge. Comfortable beds. Quick replies from the host.

Spacious and nicely decorated apartment with a good size sunny terrace. Great location for exploring Tankerton and Whitstable. Parking in a nearby street was easy. We would have scored 10 if more attention to detail had been given.

We felt the design and some finishings could have been better. No coffee was provided which has never happened before (we stay in a lot of self catering apartments) so we had to go shopping to get some. There was a small amount of left over shampoo in one shower, and none in the other. The only bin was in the kitchen. We found fish and chips wrapped in paper in the freezer, presumably left by a previous guest. The terrace is above a noisy restaurant kitchen extractor. We couldn’t get the tv to work or the Bluetooth connection to the radio.

Both double bed and king bed mattresses probably need replacing and there was no lock on the bathroom door

Lovely accommodation beautifully furnished 😍 only downside was parking but that was clear on the booking so was expected x Tankerton beach is lovely and walk to Whitstable even better!

Restaurant air conditioning noisy but that can’t be helped and only hear it when on the balcony

Excellent facilities and exceptionally clean. Modern and bright and everything you needed including lovely extras like coffee machine and pods, tea, milk, sugar, handwash and more. Wonderful sunny terrace with plenty of room to chill or eat. 2 minutes to the sea front, shops and restaurants yet quiet and peaceful away from the crowds of Whitstable.

Only one small issue with the placement of the TV as difficult to watch without moving the couch. Another comfy chair would also be useful as one person had to use a chair from the table to watch a film together.

Great location. Comfy and homey but modern and clean too.

Really spacious with lovely decor and supper location, it was lovely sitting on the terrace.

Restaurants nearby can be a little noisy and smelly

We loved the Balcony area to sit out in the evening with a nice glass of wine and coffee/tea in the morning. We moved the sofa to have a better angle on the wall-mounted TV, as was suggested in the helpful booklet at the property. I really appreciated that there was fresh milk in fridge and tea coffee and sugar available to use.

The only small downside concerned the doors to the ensuite from bedroom which were very creaky and unfortunately when my husband need to use the loo during the night the noise woke me several times. maybe a little WD40 would help sort out the creaky hinges.
