The Terrace - Tankerton

One battery was missing from the TV remote control. We bought new ones, but they didn't work either.

The terrace itself is 5*, However, during our stay, they have been working on the new restaurant below opening on Friday7th April, , and banging drilling and general loud noise till 11pm in the evening, and started again at 8am in the morning, So, as I said, the place is very nice, but our stay was not good, We should have been informed of the ongoing works.

We loved the look of the entire property, and especially The Terrace. If only the weather wasn’t so bad (it rained) when we stayed, we’d have used it more.

Not much we didn’t like at all about the property tbh! The host provided each room with towels which was a life saver.

This is possibly the best self catering accommodation I've experienced! Beautiful and spacious apartment with fresh decor that made for a perfectly relaxing stay. Unusual to have an upstairs apartment with a such lovely outdoor space. The attention to detail by the owners was amazing and the service provided was too. We had a small issue with no hot water on arrival and the owner and plumber were round within the hour on a Sunday morning - exceptional service! Cannot recommend highly enough! 5 stars! Whitstable is a lovely place to stay for a short break and the apartment is within walking distance. Tankerton itself has exactly what you need right on your doorstep. Really hope to get the opportunity to return.
