Nice well equipped property in peaceful location

A gate on the steps on the bottom garden would be good to secure dogs

Lovely property with just about everything you need. Close to Ulverston but also really rural so you wouldn’t know you were so close to a town. Plenty of room in the property. Wood burner heated up the front room incredibly and rest of house stayed warm with heaters. Although we didn’t use outside space in summer spring and autumn this space would be great too. Kids loved watching the sheep come in each morning for breakfast Dogs loved the field.

The cottage is up a farm track which needs to be taken slow to prevent damage to your car. Not a complaint but an advisory as some people may have posher cars than ours

Had a great time here, plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Place was spotless.

This didnt bother us but just to highlight- the property is up a small/ narrow road which had lots of pot holes and bumps could be tricky for low cars or drivers who are not confident.

The cottage is even better than you might imagine. Just a mile or two out of town but completely peaceful. If you have got this far you will know it is not a glamorous city centre boutique hotel. Can highly recommend.

The views were amazing to wake up to, not just the beautiful scenery but I loved seeing all of the animals too. We enjoyed sitting out until late with the log burner going (logs were provided), the lights were nice touch.

The only thing that came up for us was that my teenage girls shared the room with the bunk beds and there was no mirror in there.

This property is wonderful. Situated on a hill with stunning views. This property is a working farm with sheep, cows, chickens etc.. We visited around Easter time, lambing season 😊. We all got to bottle feed the lambs. This was amazing and my daughter spent the evenings sitting in the fields with the extremely friendly sheep. Also Mickey the sheep dog is amazing. This property was very clean, very cozy with everything available we would need for our stay.. also the owner mentioned many times that we only needed to ask her if we needed anything. We were only there for a few days and I would definitionally recommend this property to stay in. The property is not in the thick hustle and bustle of the busy tourist areas but it is situated in a great area with supermarkets that are normal high Street and don't charge style tourist prices and also fuel stations that didn't change the earth. We had the best stay and can't wait to go back ......
