Pereira Place - Cottage

The outside area is great! It has a view of the ocean and mountain which would be even greater if the wine did not cover most of the view. It was convenient that the house had a washing machine and the location was great to explore the northern part of the island. Filipe was easy to reach, helpful and replied quickly.

We didn't find the house very cozy unfortunately (except for the bedroom which was good) It's pretty dark overall with little light and windows so it was rather uninviting. The bed was quite small for our liking and the hot water was barely enough for two people to take a quick shower. We did not use the living room at all, because it smelled odd. Overall, the place has great potential but could do with some improvements or a cheaper price. Compared to other places that we stayed in on the island this was the worst and at the same time the most expensive.

We loved the location and view! It was very cute, had the basics (though no real coffee, only instant), and parking in a safe spot in front of the house. Felipe was super kind and helpful too and overall we really loved it.

The kids across the street screaming at the school much of the weekdays and the rooster at the crack of dawn... We're not used to any noise really so these are just small annoyances to be aware of. Also the shower is *extremely* small and i really was disgusted by the curtain touching me constantly.

Filipe war ein super Gastgeber und hat uns viele hilfreiche Tipps bzgl. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants etc. gegeben. Die Kommunikation im voraus per WhatsApp war einfach und alles hat super geklappt. Das Cottage ist schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügt über alles was man braucht, sogar Gewürze , Kaffee, Essig & Öl waren vorhanden, was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Eine schöne Terrasse unter Weinreben ist vorhanden , auf der man bei gutem Wetter schön draußen essen kann. Man erreicht die Promenade mit Restaurants zu Fuß innerhalb von 10 - 15 minuten & per Auto in weniger als 5 Minuten.
