Pereira Place - Cottage

First of all, Filipe is a wonderful host. He made sure we are taken care of and have everything we need. Upon arrival we got detailed instructions on the nearby attractions, multiple guides and food and drinks recommendations. When we had one small issue with the WiFi signal strenght, it was taken care of within few hours. Impressive! We had a great experience overall. The cottage itself is very clean and well-equipped. Vine-shaded terrace is great pleace to relax at! Within 10-15 minutes walk there are multiple great places with food and drinks.

There is an elementary school across the street, so it can get quite noisy at times. The bed felt a bit short.

Parkplatz direkt vor dem Häuschen. Zentrumsnähe. Ruhige idyllische Lage. Schöner Garten, aber Sitzauflagen und Liegen fehlen noch.

Kühlschrank- Gefrierkombination macht laute Geräusche. Das stört etwas. Wenig Tageslicht in der Küche.

For us it was perfect- calm, quiet , peaceful and very well equipped. Parking right in front of the house. Great host! A lot of useful info about Madeira in the house. Good location for exploring the island. Nice garden terrace with great views - both of ocean and the mountains. It's quite near the city and there is also a snack bar few hundred meters nearby for quick bite or a drink.

Piękny widok z tarasu i salonu. Dobrze wyposażone mieszkanie, duży darmowy parking, bardzo dobra lokalizacja do zwiedzania północnej części wyspy. I mili i pomocni gospodarze :)

Really great location, the flat was perfect for our stay. Good variety of cooking utensils to cook in the flat. Fillipe was great and really helpful!

Domek nie jest duży (idealny dla dwóch osób) ale jest wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne i czuć w nim autentyczną atmosferę lokalnego budownictwa. Jest w pełni wyposażona kuchnia, pralka, środki czystości itd. W 5 minut można dojść do centrum, a w 10 nad ocean. Nie ma problemu z parkowaniem auta pod samym wejściem. Sama miejscowość jest niewielka ale ciekawa. Właściciel jest bardzo pozytywną osobą. Jest z nim stały kontakt, dostaliśmy też kilka interesujących pomysłów na wycieczki.

Jedyną drobną niedogodnością jest trochę zbyt krótkie łóżko dla osób powyżej 190cm wzrostu.

The communication with the host was excellent. He replies quickly and was always reachable, also for questions during our stay. We met him personally several times and he even brought us some Christmas gifts (since we stayed during Christmas). The towels got changed after one week of using, like in a hotel. The accommodation was cosy. The bathroom was good and clean and the shower had enough pressure. In front of the house is a little terrace where you can chill and have breakfast for example. The accommodation is quite central and you can go by foot to the center of the place.

The warm water in the shower only last for a few minutes, so you had to be quick. I am aware that the village is very humid and a lot of houses must have this problem, but we haven´t used used the living room due to the moldy smell. When we have arrived there we sticking dead ants on the kitchen wall right next to the stove. It did not feel great to cook and handle food while knowing there was sprayed something which killed the insects.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par notre hôte La maison correspondait parfaitement à la description, et nous avons bien apprécié la terrasse même en décembre. Merci à lui pour ses conseils culinaires et ses petits cadeaux.
