What a delightful stay. Phillippa, Dieter and they beautiful dog welcomed us so well. Intelligent and interesting people. I was speechless in describing our double room. The character this property has, is next to none. The bathroom and shower room are close to the room and we were the only ones to use it. I really loved the special touches: fresh flowers, birthday card and sparkling wine and Phillippa added fairy lights to the gate to help me find their property, after a meal out that evening. Breakfast was devine. Every little detail is thought about. We will definitely be back again, hopefully when the sun is shining, in the summer. Thank you.

Breakfast was good.

Room lighting was poor. No lights in the hallway past 4:00 am to get to the toilet across the hall. Bed was far too soft. Could not lock the room on exit. No TV, fridge or decaf tea and coffee in room, however to be fair we should have read the facilities section more thoroughly and were guilty of assuming these basic elements would be provided. Were told to go to the studio on arrival however the word studio was only in Welsh so guessed it must be there. Could be made clearer on front door by adding the Welsh word or adding English on to the studio.

Our hosts were wonderful and we had some wonderful conversations. The property was initially built in the 1100's and was truly amazing. The breakfasts were perfect. In addition, they gave us a tour of their Bindery and also showed us some of the art that they created on-site - they are both talented individuals.

The road to this B&B is very narrow, but then all the roads in Wales are very narrow. If you are visiting this area just be prepared to drive a little slower than normal.
