"Beautiful house in a beautiful area"

Beautiful old house, packed with interesting treasures. Remote area, with a lovely walk to the river 10 minutes away. Great breakfast choice with fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurt, or English breakfast cooked to order in the welcoming kitchen. Although it appears that you will share a bathroom, the hosts only let out one of the rooms at a time (unless there is a larger party), meaning that you have the whole floor to yourself, with private use of the bathroom and shower room.

Twin beds somewhat too soft for me, but my 20 year old daughter found them very comfortable.

The breakfast was sufficient & if you want to feel the real indulgent experience get up for the cooked breakfast as we did, lovely! Scenic area, with a old world feel.😊

"A perfect first visit to Wales"

The perfect place for us! Philippa and Dieter are amazing hosts, friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble - including offering to tow our car out of a ditch! Two very friendly dogs (Dai and Flick) also live here and added to our trip greatly, however if you dislike dogs or have allergies, this won't be for you. Breakfast was always to a high standard as were the rooms on offer. We experienced a great night sleep as the bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you for welcoming us into your home, we had a wonderful time.

Very characterful building in a delightful and slightly remote location. Easy to travel from here to many places of interest or in my case into Carmarthen. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. A wonderfully atmospheric house furnished appropriately in a traditional way. Suited me perfectly as a brilliant alternative to (boring) standard hotel or B+B accommodation.

"Just what we needed."

Hosts were very nice people and we had a wonderful welcome from Dai the dog!

We didn’t need it but I’m not sure how far away you would have to travel for lunch or dinner.
