The remote location and the peace and quiet.

Everything was just fine, nothing to improve.

Absolutely everything! The place has real character and the the area is lovely, deep within in the Welsh countryside, yet accessible. The rooms are absolutely charming, as are the owners. Comfortable bed, delightful room, and setting. Tea and (fresh) coffee making facilities within the bedroom. Fabulous shower room and separate bathroom and loo! Two friendly dogs and a cat to add to the charm! The owners were attentive yet gave you space within their charming home.

That I couldn't stay longer!

It was a heavenly place to stay, quiet and peaceful. To be woken by the dawn chorus and the sound of farm yard animals was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. If you would like to get away from the 21st century I highly recommend it.

Beautiful old property which the hosts have beautifully furnished. It is very quiet which I loved. A real retreat for wild flowers and bird watchers. The hosts were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you.

With it being such an old property it meant you can’t have an en-suite but the bathrooms were very lovely and as I was the only guest I had a whole floor to myself. Not the easiest to get to the property initially but I’m so glad I stayed there.

Huge room with a comfy king size bed. Lots of original features making it a unique stay. The grounds were beautiful with lots of birds and greenery. This was perfect for relaxing in. Phillipa and Dieter are very hospitable and made sure we were well looked after. The breakfast was delicious especially the organic mushrooms, yum! This was a perfect way to wake up on a special birthday.

It is a narrow single track lane to get down to the house for a mile or so, but this does mean that you really get a rural Welsh experience. This was perfect for us.

This is a lovely property, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The rooms are enormous, really comfortable and the owners are lovely. It's a great place to relax, in a historic building, yet close enough to amenities to make it convenient.

Location was out in the country, which suited us. Breakfast was prepared just for us and what we requested.

Character property in a pleasant location with interesting and friendly hosts, great breakfast and an interesting insight into the book binding craft. Good value for money.

I stayed in a really lovely room, which was very spacious and beautifully furnished throughout. There were many thoughtful touches including a useful welcome guide, extra blankets, books available to borrow and more besides. There was also a well stocked tea tray in the room, which was a nice bonus. I had a great night’s sleep in a very comfortable bed, followed by a delicious home cooked breakfast the following morning. The hosts, Philippa and Dieter, were friendly and welcoming and I felt very much at home there. I will definitely return sometime and would recommend this B&B to everyone!
