Ynyswen Bed & Breakfast

Beautiful old farmhouse steeped in history. Great to be able to read about it, and the former owners, in the little booklet provided in the room - very interesting. The house is really quirky - so lovely. We even had a tour of the old dairy farm. Philippa and Dieter are lovely, warm, very welcoming people. Breakfast was delicious & lots to choose from. A hot breakfast is available to order and freshly made in front of you! Delicious.

It’s not that we didn’t like it but the room was extremely cold when we arrived back on our first night. Mentioned it to the owners who sorted it for our next evening.

A cosy warm, rambling house with a fascinating history (detailed in a little booklet in our bedroom). Full of interesting furniture and artwork, books and memorabilia. A generous, fresh, and very tasty breakfast, and fresh milk for tea or coffee in our room. It was hidden away in a fold of the surrounding countryside. Proper black sky at night - so the stars were bright. There is a book binding business in a neighbouring building run by the hosts - and we were granted a tour. Truly skilled craftsmanship. We will return!

Beautiful location, STUNNING house! Philippa and Dita are extremely friendly and welcoming, as were their two beautiful dogs. There was a lovely sense of calm in the house and it's surroundings. We were sad to only be staying for one night!

La experiencia fue maravillosa. La mejor que tuvimos en Gales. La casa es enorme y tiene una historia fascinante. Sus propietarios son encantadores y permiten recorrer la propiedad para admirar la vida tan tranquila que llevan. Una vez reservamos la habitación, bloquearon el resto de la planta para que disfrutáramos de mayor privacidad y uso del baño en exclusiva. El desayuno fue maravilloso, desde zumo y fruta, hasta huevos al gusto, longanizas y demás. Tienen dos perros que en ningún momento supusieron un problema, ya que son muy friendly.

Si bien las indicaciones eran bastante claras, el hecho de tener que abrir nosotros la verja para meter el coche fue algo incómodo, ya que no estábamos seguros de estar internándonos en la propiedad privada correcta.
