"Wonderful stay deep in the country."

Romantic, comfortable, solid farmhouse with superb hosts and friendly dogs. Large bedroom with great bed and breakfast.

Some may not like narrow muddy lanes. Check opening hours and availability at local pubs for evening meals.

"Unforgettable, welcoming experience"

The hosts are the heart of their home, and they kindly welcome guests into their home. The rooms and house have a lot of character, and this is expressed beautifully in the interior design of the rooms and the whole house. The rooms and house match the photos to a T. The house is surrounded by fields and you definitely feel like you are in an Agathie Christie novel or movie set. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed extremely comfortable. There was a kettle, tea, coffee and water provided. As it was our anniversary it was very touching to have prosecco provided too! (Thank you :D) We had access to the entire floor, in addition to the room, so you are spoilt for space. And to top it all off we had a lovely, generous breakfast that was served in the kitchen.

Ynyswen is a unique property in a beautiful rural location. My room was warm, comfortable and clean. My hosts provided generous refreshments in my room and a delicious breakfast. I was able to watch television in a comfortable lounge and had the use of a clean bathroom and toilet. Ynyswen lies within easy reach of several beautiful destinations: The National Botanic Garden of Wales; Aberglasney Gardens and Carreg Cennan Castle to name but a few!

Bookings.com could have provided me with a downlodable map showing the location of the property. Internet/satnav does not always work in rural locations! The distance from the National Botanic Garden of Wales was listed by Bookings.com as 3.9 miles, but was over 6 miles.
