La casetta di Giulio II

- Clean, bright, warm (in March; also air conditioner), - Entire one bedroom apartment (row house) with good kitchen and utensils, - Very quiet neighborhood one block from restaurants etc and grocery store, mostly dog-walking neighbours. - Excellent location to visit the extensive and impressive Ostia Antica scavi (archeological site). Also ten minutes walk to train station for the 30 minute train trip into Rome (also the same train in the opposite direction to the beach). - Good location for FCO airport. While taxis all charge a minimum of €35 to the airport (2026), there is a local bus with a stop nearby, that takes you to the airport. - The cost for the quality of the apartment is very good, although it's a fair trip if you want to make the trip into Rome for touristing.

- Hardly nothing I didn't like - except the duvet! Crazy European addiction - either sweating or freezing... A couple of blankets would be preferred. - It would be nice to have a rug at the entrance (eg for when it rains), also small rugs beside the bed for bare feet on a cold (possibly dusty) floor .

Clean and cozy apartment in a perfect location to explore the archeological park. Walking distance to the metro and all the bus lines to get to Rome and the airport. Excellent communication from the host Giulio. Perfect stay
