La casetta di Giulio II

Molto molto molto accogliente e ben arredata.

Basic, clean, self catering accommodation. Very convenient when visiting Ostia Antica. From the outside it does not look great but once inside you have all you want for a good stay. There was a great local restaurant inside the 'walled village' next to the nearby castle.

We problems on getting in to the accommodation on arrival. The host was very responsive to this and has said he will change his procedures so future visitors do not have the same problem.

The apartment was beautiful bright and beautiful and had all the amenities you could need. Giorgio was wonderful to work with. Definitely take him up on the parking option in the garage.

A little further from Centro than we expected, but not bad

The location was excellent for our purpose, which was to walk to the Ostia Antica Archeological area for the afternoon before our flight home the next day. La Casetta di Giulio is a lovely small house -- clean, nicely decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen, and in a quiet area of town. We also found a good restaurant in town, just a few minutes from the house. Our host was helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport. We would definitely stay there again for a longer visit to Ostia Antica, which is an amazing historical site.
