Very well designed ,lovely warm and cosy, has everything you need, short walk to Knight's Town, great view of sea , perfect little cottage great base for visiting everything in the area, we had a lovely holiday , will definitely go back

"Couldn’t have wished for better."

Felt like a home from home. Thoughtfully and personally decorated. All basic amenities provided (which is rare with the holiday lets on Valentia - we have been coming here for years). Great and peaceful location, still only 15-20mins walk from Knightstown.

"Peaceful and enjoyable, a home away from home !"

It was very comfortable and peaceful there. The house had everything we could need and the view is fantastic. Location was perfect for us as we could walk into Knightstown , yet it still felt so peaceful and quiet. House was very well decorated and maintained, beds were comfortable and it is the perfect place to relax.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

The cottage was beautifully renovated and so spacious, facilities were top class. Everything in the property is quality. Love the little fire in the lounge room adds to the ambience. Beds are so comfortable too.

The cottage was very well presented on our arrival, it was very clean and comfortable. We loved the design and the dècor. All essentials were provided. Siobhan and Peter responded immediately to any queries we may have had. The location was excellent, right by the sea, and the charming little village of Knightstown was a mere stroll from the cottage. A wonderful location from which to tour the Ring of Kerry. There is so much to see and experience in Valentia, and the boat trip to Skellig Michael is a must! I would also like to give Anna the highest commendation for her attentiveness throughout our stay.

There was very little not to like, apart from the weather which was outside of everybody's control!!!

The cottage is very beautiful and comfortable. Lovely view from kitchen and sitting room. There is everything you need for preparing a meal. Complimentary Skellig Jams for breakfast😍 Spacious bedrooms and we love the patio doors so you can step outside anytime you like. The host answered our question straight away and gives us some advice about Valentia Island and around. We just spend two nights in there but we would love to get back someday again. We spend fantastic family time in The Shore Cottage.
