Shore Cottage on Valentia Island - Cosy comfort at the sea in Kerry

This was a perfect place for our family. The hosts were so incredibly nice and helpful. The cottage is very well maintained, clean, tidy and has everything you can imagine. The location was stunning. Everything exceeded our expectations!

Location. Decor. View. Hosts. Even on the rainer days, we had so much to do in the cottage...games, books and lots of little trinkets..such a fun place to stay!

The girls that stayed in the room with the two singles said they had very dusty bedding and there was a musky smell from the room

The cottage can only be described as a little gem. It is stunning, so beautifully decorated and has everything you would need for your stay. We travelled with our two little boys and the cottage was perfect for them too. The bedrooms are incredibly comfortable and the hosts couldn't be more accommodating. We stayed in February when the weather was pretty miserable and how wonderful to arrive to a beautiful, warm cottage. The heating set so that we would have a welcome arrival was really appreciated. An absolutely brilliant find, we will be back!!

Great house great location. Perfect for a family of 5

Absolutely amazing place! The cottage is well equipped, very functional kitchen. The whole place is very welcoming. The sea view guaranteed. Place it's clean and warm. It's a short walk to the village where you can grab a dinner or a drink in the hotel. The communication with the host was very good, they gave us some tips and recommendations. Self check in, very easy instruction.

The house was very clean, and linens were soft and in excellent condition (comforters were not worn or "pilled"). The location was excellent -- beautiful view, sweet small yard and privacy around the house. Parking important, pull up right next to the house. Separate laundry room / utility area was wonderful (many houses have washer appliance located in the kitchen, which is a huge headache -- especially for families with children! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely cottage!!

Wished that there was a larger refrigerator, a small "full size". The freezer was fine, but more refrigerator space would have been appreciated.
