Shore Cottage on Valentia Island - Cosy comfort at the sea in Kerry

Beautiful house, clean and well managed, very responsive owner. The location is really nice, 2 minutes from Ferry. Walking area and kids area nearby. Overall, it was a good experience

Totally loved Cosy Cottage or "Shore Cottage" as it is the name over the front door. We stayed here for 9 days, 3 adults and two kids with plenty of very comfortable and clean space. All furnishings and beds were really comfortable and spacious and the house is generally very well equipped. There are deck chairs stored outside and we had some really enjoyable BBQ's. The walk to the center of Knightstown is a very pleasurable 10 to max 15 minutes walk along the shore. Even less of a walk if you want to pull a deck chair out by the side of the shore. We have nothing but good to say about Cosy Cottage and the hosts, Peter & Siobhan were at all times very attentive. I am wondering if I should write this very good but realistic review as I would like to keep it a secret so that there is less competition for future bookings! We would definitely book here again. We had a total chill-out holiday here. The local beach and points of interest and scenery were all really very worthwhile. We can be picky if things are not right or clean but we have to say - 5 stars!

We were very happy to spend 5 days in the cottage. It's a very comfortable and quiet place, you can find everything you need there for your perfect stay. It's also well located, not far from the main sightseeing and ocean. The host is very friendly and always ready to help. We will miss this place and hope to come back again :)

Fantastic location, lovely scenic stroll into the village. Beautifully decorated and extremely spacious, warm and comfortable. Very easy check in and the host is very quick to reply to any queries
