Ski Inn Hakuba, Iwatake

Staying here was amazing. The property is situated a stone’s throw from the Iwatake gondola, making it very easy to get around with your skis/boards. Our rooms was extremely clean and nice, and breakfast each morning was delicious. If you have a chance, book the sauna to relax and unwind after hitting the slopes. To top off the whole trip, the staff went above and beyond to help us. Thank you Nick, Mir, Yuri and Newton for being so friendly and helpful - really made our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed conversing with each of you!

The staff and the owner are very helpfull Highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay The rooms were perfect -clean,cozy, warm and very close to iwatake for ski in and out. I definitely be returning on my next visit!

We travelled as a family to Hakuba and stayed at Ski Inn Hakuba for the entirety of our time there. It is worth noting also that it was our first time skiing in Japan. We arrived at the property in the evening, so did not get a full sense of its facilities and location until the next morning. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, which had cooking amenities that we used well during our stay. Nick and the team are exceptional, very kind and accommodating. The property is next to what ended up being our favourite lift, so easy to drop back in for lunch. The unit was spotless, and quiet regardless of occupancy. The beds were particularly comfortable and warm as well. We used the in-property sauna while we stayed and was a perfect end to a long ski day. To top it all off, Nick makes an exceptional flat white on a proper machine. Altogether, a fantastic ski trip.

There are no issues with the property; however, for those who have not visited the area before, renting a car will give you some more freedom moving around Hakuba. Bus services are good, but the cost can creep up, so I recommend securing an international driver's license and looking into renting your own transport.

The facility is very new. If you're skiing at Iwatake, it's super convenient. The staffs were extremely helpful and friendly, plus foods at the hotel were exceptional! We received exceptional services there. We will definitely going to visit them again if we go back to Iwatake.

Commuting around was a bit inconvenient especially if you'll be traveling between ski resorts. We should have gotten a rental car. However, the hotel manager and staffs helped us out throughout our stay there in booking for taxis and other logistics!

Nick and Mehr were exceptional hosts. Beautiful rooms, and the dinner is a must.

The breakfast each day was fantastic. The room was welcoming and comfortable while having brand new furnishings that were lovely. The room was warm and you had control of the temperature which I liked. The bed was super comfortable. I loved everything about the accommodation and the staff went above and beyond to help us enjoy our holiday.
