Ski Inn Hakuba, Iwatake

Great location in IWATAKE. Beautiful new apartment with great facilities and helpful staff. We had a wonderful family ski holiday in Hakuba!

It’s a new boutique hotel near the slopes of Iwatake Snow field. Really nice facilities with all you need for a great skiing holiday. Perfect room for a family of two adults, two teens. Nick and his staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is changing every day, always good food. We tried the hotels set menu of seven courses and it was also really good. We can warmly recommend Iwatake Ski Inn!

There’s not many restaurants open in the evenings in Iwatake so if you do not have a car it is a bit of a challenge to get to the restaurants in the nearby villages in the evenings. We were visiting over new years holiday and it was really hard to find a taxi and many restaurants were already fully booked. Be sure to book restaurants in advance and also check taxi early on.

The location , the facilities and most importantly the hospitality from the staff was exceptional.

Everything is wonderful! And the host of the Hotel is awesome and friendly! We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights, and we felt comfortable and homey🏠 It is very close to the gondola, and the food in the hotel is great, everyone should booked the shabu shabu and the in-hotel diner, it is worth to try!

Great location to nearby IWATAKE ski resort. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our car was stuck by ice and the staff offered great, and prompt help to save us. Breakfast was nice, ranging from Japanese to western during our 5 days of stay. All the equipment was new and nicely set.

The rooms were modern and spacious. Nick and staff were very helpful and made our stay memorable. We will definitely be back again.
