ALON CLOUD9 Beach Front

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at Alon. The location couldn’t have been more perfect and the host Alma was lovely! She was helpful in arranging a tour for us and providing recommendations for dining which were great. The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. Also the air conditioning was good. I spent a lot of time deciding between properties and it was a good choice; I would definitely stay again!

Do yourself a favor and stay away from Alon Cloud9 Hotel! Our experience was absolutely terrible, and I highly recommend choosing one of the many great hotels or hostels in the area instead. First of all, we paid for breakfast, which simply did not exist! On top of that, the cleanliness was unacceptable – we weren’t even provided with face towels, the shower was broken, and there was a blood stain in the basket next to the sink that I requested to be cleaned, but it was left there for our entire stay. The pool? Completely filthy with no water circulation, making it unusable for our entire stay. On our third night, there was a power outage that lasted 40 minutes, leaving us in complete darkness without air conditioning, and there was no generator. Even worse, there was no one at the reception to assist, as it closes after 4 PM! This place is simply not worth your money. Cloud9 has plenty of much better options that will give you a decent stay and proper value. Stay away from Alon Cloud9!

The website says that there’s a restaurant. Unfortunately there isn’t. You can just order breakfast for the next day delivered to your room. No serviced restaurant.

Alba, the receptionist, was outstanding and helped use with our bookings, activitiies, restaurants, travel, etc. One of the best support we received in 1 month of travelling throughout the Philippines.

The room was very spacious and clean. Perfect location in front of Cloud 9. Alba from Reception has always been very helpful and kind.

The furniture are amazing. You feel that you want live forever in such a beautiful apartment! Alba, the hotel manager, was super kind! She provided us good tips. She also managed to bring us a disk of white rice and bread during a night in which me and my boy-friend were both sick at home for stomache. The location is super if you want to wake up in the morning, walk for 2-3 minutes, entering into the water and start surfing!
