Room Could be cleaned a bit better

A unique experience which we both loved.

The property is actually located in the palace, the living quarters are traditional and old, however when you enter your room, you get a brand new modern effect. The staff there were amazing, they gave us a free breakfast in the morning and agreed to look after our luggage.

Very hidden. Not many people knew about this hotel at all. At first when we were trying to find it, everyone around the palace was like, I’m sorry this is not a hotel, also after 11:30 when we returned to the hotel, all the gates were locked. We had to find a back entrance to enter. Overall though, for the fact that you are staying in the palace- it was very good.

1. Entrance was hard to find until we realized it is inside Ubud Palace. 2. A little noisy being next to a busy street. 3. Not barrier-free but, most of Bali isn’t either.

You are staying in one of the palace's residence, not just a building within the compound but within the palace itself (maybe it's the guest quarters, but it is definitely a legit palace residence). The building decor is excellent, and your breakfast on the outside porch will feel amazing - literally next to traditional ornate structures. This also means you get entry into a "no access" zone not open to the public. You get free access to the palace when they collect entry fees for the performances and you can enter the palace even after the gates are closed. If someone stops you from walking to your accommodation, you can just tell them you are staying here and they will suddenly turn super welcoming instead. You're going to feel special while you stay here. Inside is clean, renovated and spacious. The location is as center of tourist attractions as you could possibly get. Even if the price was a lot higher, this would still be well worth your stay.

It would be nice if it had deployable luggage stands. It is also missing a full body length mirror. The water pressure in the shower could be higher. But honestly these are small things, this was such an amazing stay.

I honestly loved everything about this, it felt like we we're royalty as we had a private section of the Ubud palace! We got to see the temple dance for free and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The room and bathroom isn't that big but was recently renovated and had everything we needed. It was right in the centre of Ubud so everything was walking distance.

Nothing, this was the best!

The property was in the perfect location, walking distance to bars and restaurants. Breakfast was spot on with a good menu to choose from.

One thing i didnt like about the property was the palace dance that happens every night. It wasnt over till 1.00am last night and it was rather noisy. But apart from that I cant fault anything.

Super location, on the busy location, but quiet inside. In the heart of Ubud, few metres from shops; cafes and restaurants. Clen and modernninside, historical and romantic on outside. Located right in the palace on the left side.

It is Ok. Nothing to dislike. Limited option of breakfast, but because of location, not a problem.

Everything! What a hidden gem. I’m sad for this to become more popular and so we can’t have it all to ourselves :)
