Mill Cottages - Rosetta

We verbleven in het rechterdeel van het vrijstaande huis dat uit twee accomodaties bestaat. De accommodatie is eigenlijk een zit- slaapkamer en keuken ineen, geen aparte ruimten; komt de gezelligheid niet ten goede. Bed en bank zijn goed. Keukenfaciliteiten waren beperkt: slechts twee kookplaten en twee kleine pannetjes, hetgeen voor ons, we koken zelf, te weinig is. Pas ook op met het neerzetten van hete pannen op het aanrecht. Tuin is groot en mooi. In Rosetta zelf is weinig te beleven.

Set on a lovely smallholding bordering the Mooi River, but still close to all the Midlands Meander attractions, the cottage was quaint and comfortable - great spot for a mid-week or weekend break. Highly recommended.

Shower pressure wasn't always 100%, but that was a minor issue.

The cottage was comfortable and well equipped with a kitchenette, fire place and personal touches. The farm surroundings were beautiful and the walk along the river was very pretty. The restaurant on the property served well priced tasty meals with gluten free options. The hosts Janice and Don were very friendly giving us advice about the area and Don was clued up on food allergies which was most refreshing. It was a good location close to Kamberg and Nottingham Road.

This venue provides excellent value for money in a peaceful rural setting. The unit was clean and neat, with some nice "homey" touches, and decorated by someone (probably our host, Janice) with excellent taste - the mix of older and newer furniture works very well. We were looking for a restful venue "far from the madding crowd", and we got just that. Janice was helpful, without being intrusive. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here.

The shower is a bit small for a walk-in shower, so water sprays out onto the floor outside the shower - a potential slipping hazard!

Super clean, beautiful setting.

My wife and I enjoyed the facilities and the location was ideal. I also enjoyed the opportunity to do some fly fishing for trout -- even though I did not catch anything!

WiFi would have been nice although we managed with online connection via our cell phones.

Great location to stay to explore the surrounding area, friendly hosts and clean cottage with everything needed! Small, special gesture from the host - water, rusks and milk with firewood supplied on our arrival!
