La Boheme di Ortigia Luxury

I traveled with three friends, all ladies in their 50s, and we had an absolutely wonderful two-day stay in the heart of Ortigia. The apartment is right in the city center, in a beautiful historic building with a charming staircase and a mysterious entrance door. Inside, the apartment is modern and stylish, with a mezzanine and a glass floor that make it truly special. Our host, Ester, was fantastic—she picked us up from a nearby secured parking (which she helped us book), and her assistant Fabio kindly carried our luggage to the apartment. We were also welcomed with wine and cookies, which was such a lovely touch. A few days before our stay, Ester sent us a thoughtful list of recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants, and cafes, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Everything about this stay was delightful: the apartment, the location, and the warm, attentive hospitality. It’s a magical spot in a truly magical part of Ortigia, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The apartment was beautiful, in a perfect location, and the floor above the living room was great. Very nice communication. Wonderful place.

Location cannot be beat. Communication with the host was flawless. Apartment was perfect for our needs. I have no complaints. Yes, there are stairs, but I knew that going on. The host arranged parking next to the apartment (not always possible), making the whole experience seamless. Driving into Ortigia can be challenging if you have never driven in a historical city center, but it is also not a big issue if you have some patience. And remember, if there is a sign that cars are not allowed under any circumstances, I suggest you follow it. If there is a garage located within the city center, there is a way to access it.

Italian beaches are overrated. But we came for the culture, not the beaches. And this is a hotel review. Nobody reading this should care about an unsolicitated opinion about Italian beaches.

Very relaxing all you could need. Esther was an exceptional hostess She genuinely wanted to make our stay perfect She booked taxis for us from train station and also for a trip to Noto the apartment was minutes from the little beach so we swam every morning and in the best location We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return Get a taxi from the airport it’s so much easier and Esther arranged a fab taxi for us Thanks Esther

Die Lage ist wirklich etwas besonderes. Direkt vor der Tür befinden sich unzählige Restaurants, Bars und Shops. Das Flair der Altstadt hat uns super gefallen. Wir hatten für unseren Aufenthalt einen Auto gemietet, ein Parkhaus ist in unmittelbarer Nähe und bei der Buchung wurden wir von der Gastgeberin unterstützt. Insgesamt war die Kommunikation und Absprache super unkompliziert. Auch als wir aufgrund einer Flughafensperrung erst kurz nach Mitternacht ankamen, war das kein Problem. Alles war vorbereitet und wir konnten selbständig in das Appartement einchecken.

Property was exceptionally large and beautifully decorated. Fine detail was amazing! Ester and her husband were extremely helpful and at hand with booking excursions and brilliant dining recommendations. Didn’t want to leave the apartment 🤣 the one and only recommendation would be that the two bedrooms have a mirror. Otherwise, I would love to return and definitely recommend.
