Adan House - Stockland

The house was petty clean on arrival.

The house was lacking in facilities like pasta strainers in the kitchen. The 2 biggest issues we had were there were only 5 towels for 11 people, we had to phone the host and they brought some down but not until around 3-4 hours later! The carpets were so thin the gripper rods stuck out and several of us now have cuts on the back of our ankles including one of the children! The soap pumps in each bathroom were also empty luckily we brought out own stuff for showers. The TV was also broken it had obviously either been dropped or hit along the bottom as it had 3-4 white spots and 2 thick back lines through the middle and side of the screen. I guess the best way to describe the house is basically student or HMO house rented out for the summer for more money. Much more care needs to go into the house for the money they are charging!

Well located close to the city centre and Cardiff Bay also a short walk to the local train station should you want to visit Barry Island. Had a short weekend break with friends, bedrooms were just right in terms of size, beds very comfortable.

Socialising space quite tight for large groups but we weren't in that much so it worked ok. Attic room stairs very steep, we had no children with us, so not an issue. Overall a lovely place for a short stay

Very spacious house, very helpful and friendly host, allowed early check in. Free on street parking. Short easy walk to principality stadium and bars/restaurants

Unfortunatly the previous guests had been smoking in the property, nothing the host could have done. Property was cleaned and aired as much as possible

The house is spacious and the kitchen has everything you need.

The downside is the strong smell of moisture, some damped walls should be repaired, and the front door frame is loose. Although the cooker works, it was completely cracked. In the ground-floor bathroom, the bath was not fully sealed and the water was going under.

Very comfy beds and great space! The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very clean! Good location, easy to get into town and easy to park outside.

Some damp on the walls so paint was flaking, but that can't be helped in houses in the UK. Didn't affect our stay at all.
