"Beautiful hotel with excellent customer service in stunning surroundings."

10.0

Very friendly service. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. They even laid on a full breakfast from 4.00 am for the guests taking part in a cycling event that day. I would say that is above and beyond normal expectations. Stunning location too. Room was comfortable, a good size and had everything you needed.

"Delightful place for a short stay or a longer one. The grounds are great, your staff bring us back."

9.0

I love the attitude of your staff. They seem to value what they do. We love the grounds, the ambiance of the hotel. The food is solid - and reasonably priced. I really appreciate the willingness to open breakfast early for the cyclists on the Dragon Ride.

Margins are so tight in hospitality, but there's some things which would help lift this lovely hotel. We're in property, so notice the state of the window frames and some boarding. Our room was spotless, very comfortable, but in 25 the flush mechanism needs repairing, as it not securely attached to the fascia anymore.
