Really comfortable and homely. Great hosts. I really enjoyed a weekend away with a friend and could just relax. Fantastic cottage with everything you need to be comfortable.

"A beautiful property with lots of character and quirky decor, in a beautiful location."

Check in was easy and the hosts had left a bottle of prosecco and some Scottish tablet, which was a lovely touch. The decor is stylish and wonderfully quirky. The small courtyard was a bonus that we hadn't expected, and it was lovely to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The cottage is in a great location, and we very much enjoyed visiting Ki Lau, a local coffee shop, every day for brunch.

We decided to sleep in the upstairs bedroom as it is more spacious; however, the unusual stairs were a little daunting for someone with a dodgy knee! It is a historic property so quirks like this are to be expected, but if you have mobility issues you may want to use the downstairs bedroom. We stayed as a couple and the accommodation was the perfect size for us, but I think 4 adults might find it a little compact.

Das Historic Cottage ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es fehlt einem an Nichts, es funktioniert alles. Wir waren auf unserer Schottlandreise 3 Nächte da und konnten uns gut erholen, im historischen, ruhigen Stadtteil Old Aberdeen. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern funktionierte bestens und sie haben immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen 😊👍🙏♥️🤗

"An interesting experience."

The house was in an interesting location for exploring Old Aberdeen and had a convenient Spar shop . Regular buses to city centre.

The house was very small for entertaining the family. Little storage space for clothes. Access to upstairs bedroom was difficult due to a querky staircase. Not suitable for those with poor mobility.

Very sweet cottage, tastefully decorated. Perfect for myself, my daughter and dog who were up to spend time with my other two sons who are students at Aberdeen university.
