Meadow Cottage - Secluded Woodland Cottage with Private Hot Tub

Nicely furnished, very quiet and private area. Towels, toiletries and kitchen essentials provided.

Insufficient lighting in the garden to use the hot tub at night. Hot tub not very hot or very bubbly, set at a maximum 37 but looses temp quickly and jets not very strong. Radiator wall in the bathroom needs decorating. TV in an odd place.

Private and comfortable in a beautiful area. Very well equipped and the hot tub is a huge bonus!

It was in a quiet location and the size was perfect for the 2 of us

Everything was good, the property was fully equipped with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. My following comments are not in anyway being negative just a couple of little bits Needed more of a permanent light for outside or a light with the option of being able to have it on a sensor or permanent because when we were in the hot tub at night the lights in the garden didn’t work only the one as you came out the doors and we had to continuously wave our hands for it to come on . Another thing was the bathroom looked a little tired , in need of a repaint and to sort the black patches out in a couple of areas . Last thing , when I was lying in bed there was some sort of spillage down the side of the kitchen unit which didn’t look very nice… just a cleaning error. But we did love it and wouldn’t hesitate to return.😊

The place is superb for a break from the noisy and stressful London. The hosts were very kind and responsive. Leila was available for any questions, for which we thank you very much (we found charcoal for the barbecue) :D Beautiful nature, a quiet and beautiful place. There was everything you need - coffee, tea, olive oil, spices, kitchen roll, toilet paper, shampoo, shower gel conditioner, shower towels, excellent internet, warm radiators, equipped kitchen for cooking (plates, glasses, eating and cooking utensils), and the hot tub is the best thing there :) I recommend for couples with a pet, my dogs were very happy.

There were inconveniences - there were no towel hangers in the bathroom, a silicone mat in the bathtub (bathing is extremely slippery) It would be nice to have a small cabinet for personal bathroom accessories. The coffee machine is old, there was a lot of dirt and rainwater coming in from the garden, there were no door mats. The most important thing for a holiday is a good sleep, the bed is a small size for two people, this was a big reason for me to rush home to get a normal sleep. I noticed that there are no children or groups of 3-4 people there because it is only equipped for couples. Mowed grass should have a larger perimeter around play equipment, benches and the studio. There is no lighting in the garden around the hot tub (solar lamp turns off after 15 minutes) There should be permanent lights that are on when you are outside.
