Hot Tub Lodge 4 Cameron, St Andrews

Location is great.

Zero reply from out of office team. Welcome pack consisted on two tea bags and some coffee sachets scattered on a plate. Place wasn't totally clean with stickers on the outside decking floor and a can wedged between the decking and the hot tub. Beds were small in both rooms, and not especially comfy. Most disappointing though was the onsite restaurant was shut, the cafe closed for the whole stay despite being advertised as open in the welcome pack, and the playpark was a construction site. Mini golf saved the day but is also is poor condition, especially in the rain. When I raised the concerns with the team, they were nice enough but it didn't seem to be a priority - they said they would come to the lodge but decided against that once I said I'd cleared the stickers away from the floor. Seems the site is more interested in sales than lettings, it's our third year here in a row and we left really disappointed.

Food was excellent and the staff were realy friendly and made us feel welcome. Realy enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Beautiful, clean, comfy and well equipped lodge. Great location. Lovely hot tub.

It would have been useful if Dan's coffee shop was open 7 days a week and slightly longer hours. Also, if the crazy golf could have been accessed outside of Dan's coffee shop hours.

The two mattresses on the double beds were shameful for the price we paid, very poor quality and uncomfortable, the smaller room one was very springy and uncomfortable. The kitchen tap was leaking at the top we told staff at reception of this day after arrival yet no one came to see or fix it. Pillows were very cheap and nasty, again not what you would expect for a £1,152 booking! Breakfast was very poor reheated bacon and sausage which was cold inside luckily we had a free voucher for this. Christmas dinner menu was poor choices, no turkey or rib of beef, we were only 2 people who turned up for booking, the staff did their best but at £55 each was way overpriced and almost double price stated on your website.

The level of finish on the lodge was beautiful and everything was spotless and clean. The resort was very accommodating and had the most perfect play park for our son and pool table for the boys.

We never had breakfast at the resort as we had a place to make our own but I am sure like everything else about the resort that it breakfast would have been great.

it was all great - especially the personnel.

Quiet, convenient location, good infrastructure. Lodge No. 4 was cozy, comfortable and well equipped, hot tube superb. We had everything we need to prepare food, good WiFi and TV. Everything is fine, but it would be necessary to arrange to hand over the keys when leaving early in the morning, because there is no staff at the reception and there is no place to leave the keys. A key drop box could be provided. The overall impression is fine, staff very friendly and helpful, I'm sure will back next visit to St Andrews.

Actually I can't to remember about something negative. Maybe will be great to have restaurant beside, but generally it is not big disadvantage.
